Simon Systems was incorporated in 1988 with an initial focus on IBM banking systems and parts.  Once established, Simon Systems began remarketing IBM 8100 equipment and to this day, is still supporting this very rare and unique line of equipment.

In early 1989, Simon Systems began to remarket the IBM 9370 family of processors and peripherals.  About two years into the 9370 market, IBM announced the 9221 as a replacement to the 9370 and Simon Systems again found themselves in another new and exciting market.

Simon Systems is very strongly rooted in the IBM S/390 family of equipment and in 1998, became an authorized IBM S/390 Business Partner.  Today our goal is to provide the best possible IBM Multiprise S/390 and IBM zSeries solutions for our customers.

Simon Systems' corporate office, warehouse and tech center is located about 15 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul, in Chaska, Minnesota (click here to view location map).

As a full-service dealer, Simon Systems offers a variety of services, such as equipment configuration, installation and migration.  Simon Systems also offers in-house configuration and migration services which greatly reduces disruption at the production level and provides a true, turn-key solution (click here for a full description of the services we provide).

Simon Systems feels very strongly about the value of mainframe computing .  In fact, we feel so strongly that we have committed 100 percent of our resources to the mainframe market.
